This Year some grass walk ways have been developed around the fields which can lead to some very lovely country side rambles. We specialise in Hen weekends combining an opportunity to do something creative in one of the workshops. Musical, Festival and Opera tours can be arranged and transport organised to Blackstairs Opera, Wexford and The National Concert Hall in Dublin. Also available: Pianist... light accompanist for Receptions..Music for Weddings, Funerals & Christening. Soloists available.

Events & Workshops:

Exciting plans for 2010 include occasional painting & musical appreciation evenings, choral workshop's, voice training."Anyone can sing". Culinary art grandmothers secrets in the kitchen. Willow basket making workshops at Kilkea Lodge Farm Bed & Breakfast. Planting days - Winter months only. Groups of 6 - 8 by arrangement and pre booked.

Join us for painting get togethers on alternate Wednesdays throughout the year, by arrangement. Exciting and fascinating to ladies wishing to re vamp their wardrobe for this season. Bespoke Millinery workshop with Jane Hamill - dates to be announced.

Equestrian Dressage Training Shows continue throughout the summer. Friday night is music night - once a month - Come make music! Hey Presto Catering for all your impromptu parties. Take advantage of our golfing winter special mid week breaks - Rathsallagh Golf Club and Kilkea Castle Golf Club are within easy reach.

Painting Workshops with Charles Evans

28th October - 1st November 2010
Any combination of days with a special concessions and priority for any one wishing to paint for the 5 days. Early booking essential with deposits as this may be the last opportunity to do a painting course with Charles until the Autumn, as his summer diary is virtually booked out.

Drawing Workshop with Desmond McCarthy

Drawing classes are scheduled for 8th May 2010.
Drawing holiday with Desmond McCarthy for a week in Annepont, France near La Rochelle, at the end of June, so that anyone interested could get in touch with us. Bookings have to be made by the end of January.
Weekend Workshop and optional overnight stay Saturday and Sunday 14th - 15th August. Dinner and music on Saturday night.

Kilkea Lodge Farm B&B Livery/Stables:

Keen competitive riders can also book in with their own horse for a refresher or pre competition dressage course with Marion Greene who is a well known listed dressage judge. We offer short term livery accommodation and boarding for your horse. Rates on request.
